What is a mammogram?

Mammography is one of the most common routine clinical examinations of the breast and is used to help clinicians identify and diagnose breast diseases such as breast fibroadenoma, cystic hyperplasia and breast cancer.

In China, breast disease is common in women and very uncommon in men. Breast ultrasound is the most common type of routine clinical examination of the breast and is the preferred method of examination by breast surgeons. Compared to breast CT scan, breast MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), and mammography, breast ultrasound is radiation-free, can be performed even during pregnancy, and is relatively inexpensive.

Mammography allows you to see whether there is a lump in the breast, how the lump differs from normal glandular tissue in the ultrasound image, the shape, size, number, border condition and blood supply of the lump. The company’s main goal is to provide the best possible service to its customers.
