Symptoms of sleep apnea syndrome

  Loud and uneven snoring during sleep, with occasional interruptions. Feeling tired and drowsy even after waking up. Struggles with arms and legs during sleep, and the body tosses and turns. The neck is tilted back during sleep and requires breathing through the mouth.  Frequent awakening at night, frequent urination or even incontinence. Waking up in the morning with dry mouth, headache and dizziness. Drowsiness during the day, uncontrollable sleep while watching TV, in meetings, riding in a car, or listening to lectures. Difficulty concentrating, memory loss, slow reaction, and decreased academic performance.  Irritability, depression, changeable temperament. Often sweating profusely for no apparent reason. Chronic pharyngitis. Obesity; male hypogonadism.
