Gardasil and Cervarix are highly effective against all types of HPV infections they can target. It was found that both Gardasil and Cervarix were 100% effective in preventing precancerous lesions due to the type of HPV infection they work on for at least 4 years after vaccination if the person was not infected with HPV before vaccination.
