Injection therapy for knee synovitis

[Abstract] Objective To observe the effect of intra-articular injection of Zhengqing Fengxianning and diclofenac sodium injection alone and intra-articular injection of both injections together with the internal administration of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of knee synovitis in clinical practice. This study provides a definite clinical basis for the treatment of synovitis of the knee joint. Methods Patients diagnosed with knee synovitis in outpatient clinic were divided into three groups: Zhengqing Fengxing Ning group, Diclofenac Sodium group and Zhengqing Fengxing Ning + Diclofenac Sodium group. The treatment course was three weeks. The effect (such as pain, swelling, joint mobility) was observed after six months. The results showed that the efficiency was 72.4% in the Zhengqing Fengache Ning group, 68.3% in the diclofenac sodium group, and 92% in the Zhengqing Fengache Ning + diclofenac sodium group. Conclusion Alternating intra-articular injection with Chinese herbal medicine is effective in the treatment of knee synovitis, with little side effects and a short course of treatment. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
