Abdominal pain, joint pain, lumbago, yellow urine or bloody urine, green or black stool, red tongue, thin yellow coating, floating smooth pulse or slippery or string.
Treatment: Clearing heat and detoxifying the toxin, cooling the blood and stopping bleeding.
Direction: Clearing heat and detoxifying the blood, cooling the blood and stopping bleeding. If the heat and toxicity are hot, with fever and extensive bleeding, add gypsum, gentian grass and comfrey, and take Zixue Dan; if the heat contains the intestines and stomach, and the Qi and blood are stagnant, and the symptoms are abdominal pain and blood in the stool, add white peony, licorice, ground elm and acacia; if the evil heat obstructs the meridians, and the joints are swollen and painful, add gentiana and sangzhi, etc.
2.Blood stasis blocking type
Symptoms: skin purpura, appear in batches, one after another, repeatedly does not heal, less abdomen and buttocks, dense back of the foot, skin nail wrong, unfavorable joints, abdominal pain at night, dry mouth and want to drink water but do not want to swallow, claw nail mouth and lips blue purple, purple dull tongue with thin greasy coating, thin and astringent pulse.
Treatment: Clearing heat and invigorating the Blood, cooling the Blood and stopping bleeding.
Formula: Peach Kernel Cheng Qi Tang with Rhizoma Dihuang Tang plus or minus. The formula includes 30g of water hyacinth (first decoction), 24g of raw earth, 12g each of peach kernel, rhubarb and angelica, 9g each of danpi, red peony, pu huang and wuling fat, 6g each of mangosteen, cinnamon stick and roasted licorice, 6g each of raw gypsum in case of severe heat, xuan shen and maitong in case of yin injury, mulberry branch and dilong in case of unfavorable joints, and yanhuosuo in case of severe abdominal pain.
3.Yin deficiency and fire type
Symptoms: Cyanotic spots or plaques on the skin, sometimes with epistaxis, epistaxis or excessive menstruation, red face, thirst, heat in the hands and feet, or hot flashes and night sweats, red tongue with little coating and fine pulse.
Treatment: Nourishing Yin and lowering fire, nourishing the luo and stopping bleeding.
Remedy: Radix Rehmanniae Radix plus or minus. The root of Radix Rehmanniae is 20g, the leaf of Phellodendron is 15g, rhubarb, raw earth, aconite (melted) are 9g each, raw licorice is 6g. If the deficiency of yin is more serious, add Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, Tortoise Plate, Radix et Rhizoma Lonicerae, dry lotus grass, hot flushes add Radix et Rhizoma Bark, Baiwei, Gentiana. If there is deficiency of kidney yin but not very hot, and the symptoms are soreness of the waist and knees, dizziness and weakness, Liu Wei Di Huang Wan can be used instead to nourish yin and tonify the kidney, with the addition of Cyperus roots, Artichoke, Sophora flowers and Comfrey at discretion.
4.Qi deficiency without regulating
Symptoms: recurrent epistaxis and epistaxis, prolonged illness, fatigue, lazy speech, dizziness, pale or yellow face, loss of appetite, spleen does not take in blood, blood has no unity and is dispersed outside the veins, so the skin is purple and pale without luster; if Yang Qi is weak, the limbs are not warm and the spirit is tired and sleepy; if Yang Qi does not rise, the face is dull, the tongue is pale and the pulse is weak.
Treatment: Tonifying Qi and regulating Blood.
Remedy: Gui Shen Tang plus reduction. Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, Radix Astragali, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Poria, Fructus Jujubae each 9g, Longan, Mu Xiang, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae each 6g, Yuan Zhi 3g, Ginger 3 slices, Jujube 3 pieces. If the kidney energy is insufficient and the waist and knees are weak, add Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, Semen Cuscutae, and Radix et Rhizoma.
5.Yang Wei Blood Dispersion Type
Symptoms: skin purple spots, blue and purple color, hidden skin, dull face, little breath and lazy speech, fatigue and sleepiness, lack of warmth in the limbs, or bruising of the lips and mouth at the ends of the fingers, prolonged illness or mismanagement, deficiency of kidney yang, fire does not warm the earth, the middle yang is also deficient, spleen deficiency and weakness of qi, spleen and kidney yang, pale tongue with white fur, sunken pulse.
Treatment: Returning Yang to save the rebellion, benefiting Qi and generating pulse.
Direction: Returning Yang to rescue the rebellious and combining with Shengwen Yin to reduce. If the stomach is weak, Six Jun Zi Tang can be used to strengthen the spleen and stomach.
