How to treat proteinuria

There are mainly two types of proteinuria, physiological and pathological. Pathological is mainly due to abnormal renal tubular filtration, resulting in protein in the urine, and the treatment differs for different conditions. Physiological proteinuria means that there is no problem with the kidneys and may be related to diet, lifestyle habits or exercise. Proteinuria can be caused by eating protein-rich food and strenuous exercise. Physiological proteinuria can disappear by itself without treatment, and can be recovered by drinking more water and promoting urination. Pathological proteinuria, on the other hand, is the result of substantial changes in the kidneys, commonly seen in glomerulonephritis, nephropathy, hypertension, diabetes, etc. Glomerulonephritis can be treated with some glucocorticoids, which is recommended to be treated under the guidance of a doctor. Those caused by hypertension need to control diet, lower blood pressure, and test blood pressure regularly. Diabetes mellitus can be treated with drugs under the guidance of a doctor. Proteinuria is mostly treated with medication and has a better prognosis as long as it is controlled in time. If proteinuria is found, you must go to the hospital in time for early detection and treatment. And to control the diet, do not take too much protein high food, otherwise it may aggravate the disease, usually more exercise, improve physical fitness.
