Eye bags are mainly characterized by bulging of intraorbital fat, sagging and accumulation of lower eyelid skin. The main reason may be that with the age growth of skin, orbicularis oculi muscle gradual aging, coupled with the role of work fatigue, long-term late night and other external factors, the lower eyelid tissues are gradually bloated and bulging. There are two main surgical methods: 1. Eye bag removal by internal incision: suitable for young patients without lower eyelid skin and orbicularis oculi muscle laxity. Advantages are: the fat can be removed from the orbital septum, there is no scarring of the skin, subcutaneous petechiae, and the lower eyelid edema subsides in about 1 week. Disadvantages: only remove the bulging fat, skin muscle laxity can not be changed. 2.Eye bag removal by external incision: it is suitable for middle-aged and old patients who have loose skin and muscle in the lower eyelid. Advantages are: it can remove the fat and loose skin, and it can tighten the loose orbicularis oculi muscle. Disadvantages: In some patients, the scarring of the incision at the lower eyelid margin fades only 1-2 months after surgery.
