The shape of the tip of the nose is determined by the cartilage scaffolding structure beneath the skin, with the medial and lateral pedicles and fornices of the nasal calvaria playing a major role, followed by the lateral nasal cartilages and septal cartilages. Ideal nasal tip must have some delicate points, surface to reach the appropriate degree of protrusion or angle. Most of the people with low nose with poor tip shape can achieve the most perfect condition by having a rhinoplasty on top of simple rhinoplasty. There are three commonly used rhinoplasty methods: cartilage transplantation method, bilateral nasal cartilage inner foot close method and nasal base wedge excision method. Cartilage transplantation method By making a marginal incision inside the nostril or making an incision inside the cartilage, part of the alar turbinate cartilage or septum cartilage is cut and shaped, and then sewn on the top of the cartilage dome, the tip of the nose can be elevated. Bilateral nasal cartilage feet close together method Make a bird-shaped incision in the nasal columella, excise the soft tissues between the two medial feet, and then make mattress suture at the near upper end of each of them, so that the two medial feet can be close together, thus elevating the tip of the nose. Nasal base wedge-shaped excision method In bilateral nasal base excision of a wedge-shaped full-thickness tissue, so that the nostrils inward, the fornix protrudes, that is, raised the tip of the nose. This method can change the shape of the nose at the same time. These three basic nasal tip surgery methods combined with other rhinoplasty procedures can change the short nose, blunt nose, pig nose, garlic nose and other kinds of unsightly nose.
