Weakness and dry cough

Weakness and dry cough may be due to upper respiratory tract infection. When the above clinical manifestations occur, we suggest to actively seek medical attention and improve the relevant tests, which generally include routine blood tests, C-reactive protein, chest X-ray and so on. If the patient is caused by bacterial infection, we need to use antibiotics for treatment, such as cefixime, amoxicillin, azithromycin, levofloxacin, etc. When the patient is caused by viral infection, we can use antipyretic or antiviral drugs, such as Qingkai Ling, busulfan, oseltamivir, etc. When the patient is caused by atypical pathogenic bacteria such as mycoplasma, we can use macrolide azithromycin, erythromycin, or quinolone levofloxacin, moxifloxacin and so on. At the same time, we have to monitor the body temperature and use antipyretic drugs if the patient has fever and the body temperature exceeds 38.5℃.
