Sudden deafness, as the name implies, is a sudden loss of hearing in the ear, which is the most basic symptom. Some patients will present very severely with vertigo, vomiting, or even tinnitus, and some will have symptoms of mental stress. The severity of the disease varies according to each person’s condition. Mild cases may get better on their own, while severe cases need to be treated in a hospital for a longer period of time, or even have some drugs injected into the ear, before they get better after a longer period of time. There are also some severe cases that are difficult to get better after all the treatments, and this is a very small number of patients.
