There are several common reasons for the stabbing pain during the recovery period of fracture: I. During the treatment of fracture involving long time fixation and braking, the local soft tissues, including fascia, ligaments and joint capsule will produce corresponding adhesions and contractures of scar, and when the functional training or activity increases slightly during the recovery period, the soft tissue pulling that occurs will cause corresponding pain and stabbing pain. Second, because the bone is not fully recovered, the fracture end produces stabbing pain due to the stress reaction during activity, which is not painful at rest but only occurs during activity. Third, the local venous reflux is poor, swelling and blood flow restriction occur, resulting in increased tissue interstitial tension and corresponding tingling symptoms.
