Four levels of prevention of allergic purpura

Step 1: Prevent allergic purpura If your child’s parents have ever suffered from allergic purpura and if your child is allergic, you should do something to try to prevent your child from suffering from allergic purpura. Step 2: Prevent kidney damage If unfortunately your child suffers from allergic purpura, you have to take some measures to avoid affecting the kidneys as much as possible, because kidney damage is often prolonged and brings great physical and mental pain and economic burden to the child and family. The third step: prevent kidney failure In case your child’s allergic purpura damage to the kidneys, there is also a difference between mild and severe, relatively minor damage is self-limiting, often able to heal themselves. However, it is important to avoid new damage, if the kidneys repeatedly have new damage due to infection, strain, allergy and other factors, it may affect the kidney function. More serious kidney injuries, such as acute progressive nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and acute nephritis caused by allergic purpura, are dangerous in the acute phase and often have a long course, which can be as long as 2-3 years. A small number of affected children will develop renal failure. Step 4: Life support Once there is irreversible renal failure, in the renal pathology is often glomerulosclerosis and tubulointerstitial fibrosis. Then you can only rely on hemodialysis or kidney transplantation to maintain life.
