With the increasing popularity of large-screen cell phones and computers, more and more people are coming to the clinic with tendinitis due to long-term finger force activity, which is not a serious disease, but occurs in the hand and is painful and affects life and work. The common tendon sheaths are radial stenosis and flexor tendon stenosis, the terms are very tongue-in-cheek. Radial stenosing tenosynovitis is characterized by pain on the radial side of the wrist joint and is closely related to the movement of the thumb. The disease is most common in women over 40 years of age, but it also occurs in breastfeeding women. It is usually diagnosed by an experienced orthopedic surgeon on physical examination and can be treated conservatively with braking, physical therapy or local closure when first diagnosed or when symptoms are mild. If the symptoms do not improve significantly with non-surgical treatment or if they recur, surgical treatment may be used. Flexor tendon stenosis is usually manifested as popping fingers and popping thumbs, with a slow onset. Initially, the finger is stiff and painful in the morning, which disappears after slow activity. With the prolongation of the disease, it gradually appears with obvious pain, and in severe cases, the affected finger is flexed and does not dare to move. The frequency of onset of each finger is most frequent in the middle and ring fingers, followed by the thumb and little finger. The patient himself can find a painful nodule of soybean size at the distal transverse palm stripe, and the nodule moves up and down with the flexor tendon or appears to be plucked, and he feels that the plucking occurs here. For tenosynovitis, local braking with braces and intratendinous injection of prednisolone acetate or Depo-Provera have good efficacy. However, if conservative treatment therapy does not work, consider performing a tenosynovectomy of the stenosis, which requires only local anesthesia and takes about 10 minutes or so, without undue concern. Prevention is important: pay attention to the correct posture of fingers and wrists at work, don’t overbend or back stretch, keep both hands balanced, wrists can reach the object, don’t hang; avoid overstrain of joints, rest regularly. Continuous work time should not be too long, after work to rub the fingers and wrists, and then hot water to soak hands. Wrist joints to do a 360-degree rotation; or will be the palm of the hand to make a hard fist and then relax, back and forth a few more times or will be the fingers back pressure or palm back pressure a few times, can effectively relieve hand pain.
