How to give first aid in case of asphyxia in children with acute laryngitis

Acute laryngitis in children worsens at night and can easily lead to respiratory distress or even asphyxia, so first aid measures should be taken promptly.
The first step is to ensure a clear airway, administer oxygen, and use adrenocorticotropic hormones to reduce laryngeal oedema and relieve laryngeal obstruction in a timely manner.
If the symptoms are not relieved after the above treatment and there is still severe hypoxia or 3rd degree or more laryngeal obstruction, tracheotomy or tracheal intubation should be performed promptly.
