Interventional embolization of hepatic hemangioma

Hepatic hemangioma intervention can safely and effectively cure hepatic hemangioma. Firstly, interventional treatment for hepatic hemangioma has the advantages of wide indications, little damage, fast recovery and good efficacy. Secondly, hepatic hemangioma intervention can prevent tumor rupture and bleeding. Not only that, hepatic hemangioma intervention is mostly used for the treatment of hepatic hemangioma that cannot be removed surgically. Finally, there is no absolute contraindication for hepatic hemangioma intervention, so it is very important for patients to understand the relevant knowledge before treatment. The clinical manifestations of hepatic hemangioma are related to the location, size, growth rate and the degree of hepatic parenchymal involvement of the tumor. 2.Indications for interventional treatment of hepatic hemangioma: The main interventional treatment for hepatic hemangioma is hepatic artery embolization (HAE). 3.Contraindications of hepatic hemangioma intervention: In general, hepatic artery embolization is not absolutely contraindicated for hepatic hemangioma treatment, but it is used with caution in severe liver and kidney insufficiency. 4.Advantages of hepatic artery embolization: Hepatic hemangioma intervention is an effective method for the treatment of hepatic hemangioma, with the advantages of wide indications, small damage, fast recovery and good efficacy. After hepatic arteriography, the catheter is super-selectively inserted into the target vessel and embolization is performed according to the image. Multiple cases can also be embolized together. Biliary hemangioma is mainly composed of blood-filled, dilated sinusoids. The terminal embolic agent stays in these sinusoids to form thrombi, which can be mechanized and fibrotic to transform the tumor into a fibroid structure. In this way, the tumor will shrink and will not rupture and bleed to achieve therapeutic effect, and some patients can heal completely. If the tumor is revascularized or the collateral circulation is established, the tumor can be enlarged again, at which time the embolization can be repeated. Therefore, transhepatic artery embolization is the main treatment method for hepatic hemangioma with less trauma, faster recovery and fewer complications.
