The gradual onset of adverse limb movement and the gradual worsening of symptoms is usually easy to overlook and is only noticed when the symptoms progress to a certain level. Again, this needs to be combined with the patient’s medical history, which may be a result of infection, autoimmune disease, neurodegenerative disease, tumour, genetic disease, etc. Further investigations, electrophysiological and imaging tests and genomic sequencing analysis, if necessary, are required at this time.
