Myasthenia gravis crisis is usually due to paralysis of the respiratory muscles, resulting in the patient being unable to breathe normally and should be seen as soon as possible at the nearest available hospital. The doctor will immediately intubate the patient with tracheal tubes or tracheotomy to help with artificial ventilation.
