Does anti-inflammatory medication work for overactive bladder syndrome?

It doesn’t work. Overactive bladder disorder is a dysfunctional bladder disorder that manifests mainly as urinary urgency. The cause of the disease is not known and may be related to involuntary contractions of the detrusor muscle. Anti-inflammatory drugs, also known as antibacterial drugs, mainly treat bacterial infections. Taking anti-inflammatory drugs alone is not a treatment for overactive bladder.
