Patients with colon cancer may have some atypical clinical manifestations, such as changes in stool habits and traits, where stools were normal, but now the patient may have diarrhea or constipation, unformed stools or even watery diarrhea. If there is blood in the stool, abdominal pain, weight loss, or thinning of the stool, these conditions may be a bad alarm signal and should be highly suspected. Then there is a family history of immediate family members with colon cancer, plus the patient has blood in stool, weight loss, abdominal pain, change in stool habit and trait, all suggesting the possibility of colon cancer. It is recommended that the patient must go to the hospital for examination, including checking tumor indicators and examining colonoscopy, to further rule out the possibility of colon cancer.
