According to the guidelines, it is generally recommended to have 8 times of chemotherapy after colon cancer surgery, and the total time is about 6 months. If there are obvious side effects during chemotherapy, such as nausea, vomiting, malnutrition, inability to eat, bone marrow suppression, persistent decrease in white blood cells, and the use of leukocyte-raising drugs are not able to restore white blood cells to normal, chemotherapy is relatively more damaging and may have to be terminated or the chemotherapy regimen changed. Usually, capecitabine combined with oxaliplatin chemotherapy is used, requiring 2 weeks of oral capecitabine with 1 week interval and one intravenous dose of oxaliplatin during hospitalization.
