What is the cause of anal bleeding due to hard stool?

Patients present with coarse and hard stools, the causes of anal bleeding are more complex and the cause can be initially determined based on the colour of the blood in the stool.
In chronic constipation, haemorrhoids and anal fissures, bleeding is often associated with excessive force during defecation or dry stools, and the colour of their blood in stool is usually bright red.
Bleeding from upper gastrointestinal diseases such as gastric ulcers is usually black in colour.
Bleeding from the lower gastrointestinal tract, such as bleeding from colorectal cancer, is usually dark red in colour.
Patients experiencing the above symptoms should promptly visit a hospital for examination to clarify the diagnosis and promptly treat accordingly.
