Anal bleeding clots, on the one hand, may be due to a large amount of bleeding from a ruptured haemorrhoid, resulting in blood clotting in the anal canal and forming a blood clot for discharge; on the other hand, it may be a clot formed by bleeding from the colon.
Patients are advised to visit the hospital promptly for relevant investigations to identify the cause and treat it accordingly.
