Do benign tumors grow?

Most benign tumors grow, but at a slower rate. Benign tumors, i.e., benign hyperplasia or granulation tissue in local lesions, will not metastasize or spread, but most of them will continue to grow, only that their growth speed is slow, and the patients usually do not have obvious discomfort symptoms. For patients with small size and no clinical symptoms, there is no need for special treatment, and regular follow-up is sufficient; if the tumor size is large, with pressure symptoms, or rapid growth in a short period of time, then it is necessary to take timely surgery to remove the tumor, and there will be no recurrence in the later stage. It is recommended that patients choose the appropriate treatment according to the doctor’s instruction and have regular checkups to avoid delaying the condition.
