The typical clinical manifestations of breast cancer are: 1. Breast lump: hard, painless, not smooth surface, little or no activity. 2. The skin on the surface of the tumor is sunken, which is called “dimple sign”. 3.Involved breast duct pulls the nipple and causes nipple invagination. 4.Tumor cells invade the subcutaneous lymphatic duct network of breast, forming “orange peel-like” changes. 5.Tumor invades the lymph nodes in the axilla and enlarged lymph nodes in the axilla can be palpated. 6.Late stage tumor may metastasize far away. Common metastasis sites are: lung, bone and brain. Most of the clinical breast cancers are in the middle and early stage, and the symptoms are incomplete. They may only present as breast lumps. Diagnosis depends on other tests, such as ultrasound, mammography and pathological biopsy.
