Adolescent reproductive health needs to be taken care of

Of the 6 billion people in the world, there are about 1.6 billion young people between the ages of 10-24, and of the 1.3 billion people in China, there are nearly 300 million young people between the ages of 10-24. Adolescence is a critical period in the life cycle, and adolescents are the mothers of the future, and this period is the foundation for healthy adulthood. However, the rapid growth and development during adolescence, and the lagging psychosocial adaptation and lack of sexual knowledge are prone to various reproductive health problems. Human papillomavirus infection is becoming a key factor in the early development of cervical cancer in adolescents or young adults. Teenagers need to pay attention to their own health in order to be a healthy mother and a healthy member of society in the future. They need to acquire certain knowledge about reproductive health and learn to protect themselves and prevent the occurrence of diseases; at the same time, they need to establish friendly contacts with medical personnel, communicate and consult in time when problems arise, and have timely checkups when uncomfortable symptoms appear. Unplanned and unsafe sex, pregnancy, and sexually transmitted diseases are all preventable.
