What should be noted in the diet of esophageal cancer?

There are many patients suffering from esophageal cancer in daily life, and people do not want to be harmed by esophageal cancer in life. There are many factors in the development of esophageal cancer, and the danger of esophageal cancer is so great that it seriously endangers the health of patients. The relationship between living habits and esophageal cancer is introduced 1. Smoking and esophageal cancer: Western scholars mostly believe that smoking may be the main factor for the occurrence of esophageal cancer. Through epidemiological survey, it is found that smoking is quite common in some areas with high incidence of esophageal cancer, but in some areas, it is rare to see people who do not smoke. According to the survey, smoking may be the reason for the high incidence of upper and middle esophageal cancer. However, previous epidemiological surveys in China have not found a close association between smoking and esophageal cancer. Nowadays, it seems that most of these previous studies are from localized high incidence areas of esophageal cancer and are limited to rural population. In recent years, scholars in China have conducted a large number of epidemiological surveys on esophageal cancer in high and low incidence areas as well as urban and rural areas, and most of them still believe that smoking may also be a cancer-promoting factor that cannot be ignored in the occurrence of esophageal cancer in China. Many studies have shown that tobacco is a carcinogenic substance and its harm to human body is multi-effective. The carcinogenic substances in tobacco may be swallowed with saliva or food into the esophagus or absorbed to cause cancer in the esophagus. It attacks the fat, protein and nucleic acid components of cells, causing cell damage and cancer. 2.Drinking alcohol and esophageal cancer: foreign scholars have done a lot of epidemiological surveys about the relationship between esophageal cancer and drinking alcohol, and they found that many patients with esophageal cancer have a history of drinking a lot of alcohol, or are mostly brewery workers and employees related to wine merchants. Recently, British and Hong Kong scientists investigated the smoking and alcohol consumption of esophageal cancer patients in Hong Kong and found that alcohol consumption may be more likely to cause esophageal cancer than smoking after detailed comparison and analysis. Domestic scholars such as Zhang Yude investigated 1400 esophageal cancer patients and found that the case group had a positive drinking history and the effect of alcohol was related to its duration and the size of drinking. However, there is no report on the use of alcohol or alcoholic products to induce esophageal cancer in animals. It is more widely accepted that alcohol itself may not be directly carcinogenic, but has a pro-carcinogenic effect. Alcohol can be used as a solvent for carcinogen, which can promote carcinogen to enter esophagus and cause damage to esophageal mucosa, creating conditions for the occurrence of esophageal cancer. 3.Eating habits and esophageal cancer: After investigation of incidence factors in high incidence areas, it is found that patients with esophageal cancer have the habits of coarse and mushy food, eating too fast, and preferring hot drinks, which damage esophageal epithelium and increase the sensitivity of carcinogens. Most studies have shown that hot food is one of the factors for the development of esophageal cancer. In China, many residents and esophageal cancer patients have the habit of eating hot food in areas with high incidence of esophageal cancer. Long-term repeated heat stimulation may contribute to esophageal carcinogenesis. It has also been reported that eating too fast, rough food, squatting eating, drinking strong tea and irregular meals are related to esophageal cancer. 4.Chronic irritation of esophagus: some of the aforementioned pathogenic factors can cause irritation of esophagus, and long-term repeated irritation will further lead to esophageal mucosal lesions. It is found that the incidence of esophageal cancer is higher in certain esophageal lesions, such as chronic esophageal cancer, benign esophageal stricture and esophageal mucosal leukoplakia, which indicates that chronic damage and inflammation caused by chronic stimulation play a role in the development of esophageal cancer. Esophageal cancer diet needs to remember seven don’ts 1.Esophageal cancer patients should avoid eating too hot, rough or acidic food to reduce pain caused by local irritation. 2.Family members of esophageal cancer patients should not buy vegetables and fruits that are not fresh or rotten for cheap. 3.Don’t eat too much meat because of its high fat content, but eat more fish and shrimp to meet the body’s protein demand. 4, moldy rice, noodles, peanuts and other foods contain carcinogenic aflatoxin, once found, should be abandoned not to eat. 5, the water in the tank should be updated every 2 to 3 days, do not always leave the stub, because the bacteria in the sediment stored in the bottom of the tank can make the water nitrate reduction into carcinogenic nitrite. 6, smoked fish, meat, sausages and other foods contain carcinogenic smoke tar, should be eaten less. 7, do not put too much oil when frying, research shows that the occurrence of esophageal cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, ovarian cancer are related to too much fat intake. Therefore, we would like to remind you that smoking and drinking can lead to health, so we hope you cherish life and stay away from smoking and drinking!
