The hymen is the mucous membrane of the normal female vaginal opening, and its rupture is not necessarily related to the use of condoms or not. Condoms are a physical method of contraception because they are used to prevent the union of sperm and egg. The rupture of the hymen can be caused by either hard objects or masturbation. And if a woman has a thick hymen or a congenitally absent hymen, even if sex occurs, it may not necessarily cause a hymen rupture. Therefore, there is no direct link between condom use and hymen rupture.
