There are various ways to examine the pancreas: 1. Ultrasound of the digestive system should be performed on an empty stomach to avoid excessive gas in the abdomen that may affect the observation. Even so, because of the deep location of the pancreas, in some cases the pancreas is not clearly observed with ultrasound.2. Blood and urine amylase, which are tests done by collecting blood and retaining urine, are mainly used for differential diagnosis of pancreatitis.3. CT, which is more sensitive to the examination of the pancreas, can also do enhanced CT for comparison if an occupancy is found.4. In addition, MRI is a further test, which is more detailed in observation.
