Disinfection of the suspected patient’s belongings needs to be considered as the suspected patient may have contaminated the items and the surrounding items need to be disinfected in a timely manner. Disinfection can be done by wiping with disinfectant paper towels, or by wiping with chlorinated disinfectants or quaternary ammonium disinfectants. If the suspected patient is diagnosed as a patient, all contaminated items of the suspected patient need to be disinfected. The principles of treatment for suspected patients are the same as those for patients. If a patient with neocrown pneumonia is eventually ruled out, only simple cleaning and disinfection of the area where the suspected patient has lived is required after the patient is discharged from the hospital or after he/she has left the isolation site.
