Can patients with pneumonia who have not been exposed to novel coronavirus infection be infected

The most common source of infection today is a patient with pneumonia infected with a novel coronavirus, and there is a high probability of contracting the novel coronavirus if one has had contact with the patient. This contact is not only in vitro, but may also be droplet transmission, touching something that the patient has touched. The virus is capable of surviving in droplets for several hours, and there is a possibility of getting sick after exposure to droplets from a patient. However, there is no way to be sure that if you do not have contact with the patient, you will not contract the virus. The virus can be transmitted in many ways, and contact with a patient is only one of them.
