The World Health Organization suggests that cardiac rehabilitation is everything that is needed to restore heart patients to an appropriate level of physical, mental and social adaptation, so that they can take their place in society as much as possible through their own efforts. When suffering from heart disease taking medication is only one of them, the most important thing is to reduce the recurrence rate of cardiovascular disease, to reduce the restenosis and reinfarction of heart vessels and death, so that you can live with quality and dignity, and also to reduce some unnecessary side effects of medication. Therefore, we should first learn how to perform cardiac rehabilitation under the guidance of a professional cardiac rehabilitation doctor. Then, develop a rehabilitation program that can be done at home or in the community or hospital. The best cardiac rehabilitation programs combine supervised training with other ways to protect the heart, including help with smoking cessation and weight loss, knowledge of proper medication use and healthy eating, and treatment of depression and stress relief. If you are doing rehabilitation at home, it is important to stay in regular telephone contact with your rehabilitation supervisor and to be available if you have questions or are uncomfortable.
