Ejaculation is one of the least effective methods of contraception, and there is a certain chance that it will lead to pregnancy. So, what are the chances that ejaculation will lead to pregnancy? Currently, clinical studies generally agree that the chance of pregnancy from external ejaculation is about 3-20%. According to research data, the Pearl Index is 4 for perfect use of ejaculation (i.e., 4 out of 100 women who use ejaculation perfectly for contraception for 1 year will have an unintended pregnancy) and 20 for failed use of ejaculation (i.e., 20 out of 100 women who fail to use ejaculation for contraception for 1 year will have an unintended pregnancy). Also, there are statistics that show that if 100 couples use an ejaculation method for contraception, roughly 30 women will become pregnant. There is also the opinion that the chance of pregnancy due to external ejaculation is 1%, this 1% is the possibility that the man has ejaculated before ejaculation, but it does not necessarily mean that he will get pregnant, it also depends on the vitality of the sperm. However, this viewpoint only shows the possibility of sperm loss before ejaculation, but ignores these two possibilities: 1. Many men do not grasp the exact time of ejaculation, and the penis is pulled out of the vagina too late, which can easily cause the semen to remain in the cunt or at the outer vaginal opening. (This is also an uncontrollable factor that few people can ensure, and the chances of pregnancy are very high in this case). 2. Semen left around the female vaginal opening, the male penis or other parts of the body can enter the female reproductive tract for various other possible reasons, and some of the more active sperm will keep moving towards the uterus. (This condition can also lead to the possibility of pregnancy.) Therefore, the chances of pregnancy due to external ejaculation are still very high and it is not recommended to use this method easily for contraception. Some people are determined not to wear a condom in order to seek sexual excitement, and will choose to perform external ejaculation during the safe period. So, can ejaculation during safe sex lead to pregnancy? In fact, ejaculation during safe periods is not necessarily safe, because some women are affected by certain factors and may ovulate even during safe periods, resulting in pregnancy, but the chances of conception are relatively low compared to ovulation; while ejaculation during ovulation is very dangerous and the chances of conception are very high. Usually, after ejaculation during ovulation, emergency contraception is needed to remedy the situation. “It’s okay, you can’t get pregnant if you ejaculate outside the body.” Women should stop falling for similar lies from men! The chances of pregnancy with extracorporeal ejaculation are really high. References: [1] Zhao X. In vitro ejaculation: making him sad and making her hurt [J].
