Levosimendan Injection can be used to treat advanced heart failure.
1. Levosimendan Injection is a calcium sensitizer that can be used for the short-term treatment of patients with heart failure that is not responding well to treatment with diuretics, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, and digitalis drugs. This drug can increase myocardial contractility, and can also improve the blood supply to the coronary arteries, dilate blood vessels, and reduce the anterior and posterior load on the heart.
2. Levosimendan Injection has a positive inotropic effect, but it cannot reverse pathological changes such as myocardial hypertrophy and enlargement of heart chambers in patients with advanced heart failure. Adverse reactions such as headache, hypotension, ventricular tachycardia, hypokalemia, insomnia, and dizziness may occur with the use of this drug. It is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to the drug, in patients with severe hypotension, in patients with tachycardia and other diseases.
If you need to use levosimendan injection, please under the supervision of a physician.
