How long can you normally take sick leave for a fracture?

There is no uniform length of time that you can take off work for a fracture. The length of this time is based on the site of the fracture, the healing of the fracture, and the recovery of function after the fracture. For example, a pediatric green branch fracture can heal completely in 3-4 weeks, and the leave time is 4-6 weeks; the healing time for common common fractures is 6-8 weeks, plus the functional recovery time, which is usually 8-12 weeks of sick leave. Special fractures with longer healing time can reach more than half a year, and if the fracture has a deformed healing or poor functional recovery, then the sick leave time can be extended accordingly under the doctor’s treatment.
