Is there a tumor in the skull?

(I) Symptoms of increased intracranial pressure: headache: headache is the most common and the earliest symptom of intracranial tumor; headache of brain tumor is not serious in the early stage, and with the passage of time, headache is also aggravated, which is often unbearable to the patients, and cannot be solved by general painkilling drugs. Headache mostly starts in the morning after waking up, can be paroxysmal or persistent, and can be aggravated by coughing and exertion. The location of pain varies according to the different parts of the tumor, and it can be located in one side of the head or all of the head. Generally speaking, supratentorial tumors are mostly found in the temporal lobe, while infratentorial tumors are found in the occipital area, the back of the neck and the orbital area. The cause of fundus edema optic nerve papilla edema is due to increased intracranial pressure, which blocks the return of lymphatic fluid from the lymphatic sheaths around the optic nerve, as well as increased venous pressure in the optic nerve venous filling. The presence of edema in the fundus of the eye can have an effect on vision, and prolonged damage to the optic nerve can lead to optic nerve atrophy and blindness. Vomiting: Caused by direct pressure or stimulation of the medullary vomiting center or vagus nerve. This symptom is common in subepithelial tumors, especially in children, and the vomiting is projectile, which occurs frequently when the headache is aggravated. (ii) Neurological dysfunction: The appearance of the above symptoms may already indicate the presence of intracranial lesions, but the possibility of intracranial tumors is very high if they are combined with the following symptoms. Memory loss, often combined with personality, mental and emotional disorders, is common in prefrontal lobe tumors, which can lead to somnolence and coma in advanced stages, and if the posterior frontal lobe is involved, it can cause epilepsy and limb paralysis. Epilepsy, with complex and varied manifestations, tumors in different lobes of the brain can show different forms of seizures, is one of the most common clinical manifestations of brain tumors. Unilateral tinnitus and hearing loss, commonly seen in tumors near the facial auditory nerve. Endocrine changes, developmental delay after over-obesity in children, menstrual disorders in adults, infertility, change of libido, obesity, etc. Limb sensory abnormalities, such as numbness, pain, loss of sensation, etc. Ataxia, inflexible limb movement, unsteady walking, etc. (C) Other: Vertigo patients are aware of the rotation of surrounding objects or self-perception of rotation, followed by headache, nausea, vomiting discomfort; eye abnormalities, such as diplopia, eye movement disorders, eye protrusion and so on.
