The exact mechanism for the pathogenesis of hepatic haemangioma is not yet clear. It is currently thought to be associated with congenital abnormalities in the development of liver blood vessels, abnormally high levels of oestrogen and progesterone, and infection of the liver capillaries.
There is no effective specific prevention method for this disease.
