Hives after taking the 9-valent HPV vaccine may be caused by an allergic reaction in the skin as a side effect of the vaccine. It can be treated in the following ways: general treatment, topical medication, oral medication and so on.
1. General treatment: hives after HPV vaccination, first of all, make sure the skin is clean, do not scratch excessively, so as not to break the rash and infection. Diet should be light, do not eat spicy and stimulating food, so as not to make the rash aggravated.
2. Topical medication: You can use glycerin lotion to relieve the itching symptoms caused by hives. If the rash is more serious, you can also use glucocorticoid ointment to apply locally, such as: mometasone furoate cream, hydrocortisone butyrate cream and so on.
3. Oral medication: If the itching symptoms produced by urticaria are more obvious, you can also take oral anti-allergic drugs for relief, such as: loratadine tablets, levocetirizine tablets and so on.
The above drugs should be used under the guidance of clinicians to avoid adverse reactions.
