Preparation for bronchoscopy operation

Bronchoscopic children need to be prepared in advance for the following: 1. Laboratory tests: routine blood, liver function, hepatitis B surface antigen, HIV, hepatitis C antibody, syphilis rapid test, blood gas analysis, electrocardiogram, chest X-ray or lung CT, PPD test. 2. Pre-operative preparation (1) The child should fast from food and water for 6-8 hours before surgery on the same day, and should not take oral medication. (2) Pre-operative injection (atropine and valium) will be given by the nurse according to the time notified by the bronchoscopy center. (3) After the child arrives at the bronchoscopy center, the nasopharynx should be sprayed with 2% lidocaine 3 times before the procedure. Children who have bronchoscopy need to be hospitalized in advance to do relevant examinations. Children from overseas can call me in advance to consult whether there is a bed available, so as to avoid waiting for a long time without a bed or making a trip for nothing.
