How to treat benign neck tumors

In general, asymptomatic and relatively small benign neck tumors can be followed up regularly first, while more obvious symptoms or larger benign neck tumors need to be surgically removed. There are many benign tumors occurring in the neck, such as thyroid adenoma and lipoma. The type and nature of the tumor can be initially determined by CT or ultrasound examination of the neck. In most cases, if the size of benign tumors in the neck is relatively small, and the patient has no obvious clinical manifestations, and they are only found during physical examination, such cases can be left untreated, and the growth of the tumor can be monitored by regular follow-up. However, if the patient has obvious pain, edema and other symptoms, or the tumor is relatively large, timely surgical resection should be carried out. It is recommended that patients should have regular review so as to achieve early diagnosis, early treatment and better therapeutic effect.
