Common causes of ascites due to hepatitis B cirrhosis

Hepatitis B cirrhosis is a disease often seen in our lives, generally speaking, cirrhosis is divided into compensated and decompensated stages, early cirrhosis if not promptly diagnosed and treated, often serious complications, of which cirrhosis ascites is a common kind. Today we learn together the reasons for the formation of ascites in cirrhosis of the liver: 1, cirrhosis of the liver will cause an increase in portal pressure, capillary filtration pressure often leads to congestion and edema of the gastrointestinal tract, tissue fluid recovery is reduced, and eventually leak into the abdominal cavity to form ascites. 2, liver function damage in patients with cirrhosis, resulting in a significant reduction in liver synthesis of albumin, coupled with cirrhotic patients often lead to further loss of plasma albumin due to vomiting blood, and ultimately patients with significantly lower plasma osmolality, which is one of the most important reasons for the formation of ascites. 3, liver lymphatic reflux disorder is also an important reason for the formation of ascites, cirrhotic patients are often due to liver regeneration nodules blocking the lymphatic vessels around the portal vein, and a large amount of lymphatic fluid leaks into the abdominal cavity through the lymphatic vessels under the liver envelope to form ascites. 4, the body hormone level disorders in patients with cirrhosis, especially aldosterone and antidiuretic hormone inactivation is reduced, which directly leads to a decrease in sodium excretion and increased sodium reabsorption, which can cause serious sodium and water retention, which is also an important factor in the formation of ascites. It can be seen that the formation of ascites in patients with cirrhosis is the result of multiple factors, once the formation of ascites often indicates that the patient enters the decompensated stage of cirrhosis, which requires active treatment such as albumin infusion, diuretic, liver protection, etc. For patients with advanced cirrhosis often require liver transplantation to solve the problem of persistent ascites.
