A fever followed by a cough is first considered to be caused by a common disease of the respiratory system. Fever can be seen in other common diseases, such as stomach disorders and urinary tract disorders that can cause fever. It is important to consider the temperature of the fever and other accompanying symptoms. Fever with cough should first be considered as a respiratory disease, specifically caused by an upper respiratory tract infection, inflammatory pneumonia of the lungs, or mycoplasma chlamydia pneumonia caused by mycoplasma chlamydia infection. The diagnosis is confirmed based on relevant ancillary tests, such as routine blood tests, blood cultures and chest x-rays.
