Can lymphatic tumors be cured?

Hodgkin’s lymphoma is one of the lymphomas that can be cured by chemotherapy. The cure rate of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is not as good as that of Hodgkin’s lymphoma because it is prone to early metastatic spread. 1. Hodgkin’s lymphoma: it is a rare malignant tumor with high cure rate, generally metastasizing from the primary site to the neighboring lymph nodes sequentially, and it is a kind of malignant tumor that can be cured by chemotherapy, and the treatment mainly adopts the comprehensive treatment of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The 5-year survival rate of stage I and II is more than 90%, and that of stage IV is 31.9%. 2. Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma: it is a group of lymphomas with different histological characteristics and sites of disease initiation, prone to early distant metastasis, so the treatment effect is not as good as that of Hodgkin’s lymphoma. At present, the international prognostic index is usually used to classify the prognosis into four categories: low-risk, low-intermediate-risk, high-intermediate-risk and high-risk, and its 5-year survival rate is 73%, 50%, 43% and 26% in that order. For tumors, early detection and early treatment should be generally beneficial to the patient’s condition. The treatment of lymphoma is based on radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and patients need to follow the medical advice to insist on regular review and long-term follow-up.
