What is dry eczema

  Dry eczema, also known as lipid-depleted eczema, is an eczema with a dry, flaky surface due to a loss of skin moisture and a decrease in the skin’s natural oil production.  The disease occurs in the elderly in autumn and winter, especially in front of the shins of the lower legs, small infants and women are also a good population. The reasons are as follows: 1. Elderly people, children and women have less natural oil secretion and dry skin; 2. The environment absorbs a lot of moisture from the skin because of the low moisture in the air in autumn and winter; 3. The wind is stronger in autumn and winter, which can quickly take away the moisture from the skin. The following reasons tend to aggravate dry eczema: 1. hot water baths; 2. frequent use of shower gel, soap and other cleaning products; 3. bathing too often; 4. not using moisturizer to help protect the skin.  So in the treatment of dry eczema is mainly: 1, the erythema inflammation at the topical use of weak hormone cream, such as Denide cream, hydrocortisone butyrate cream, 1-2 times a day can be; 2, establish a good bath concept, warm cool water rinse 1-2 times a week can be; 3, strengthen the skin protection, adhere to the use of emollient cream.  4.Use a home humidifier according to the conditions.
