Sinusitis symptoms in children

If your child has a runny nose all the time and does not show signs of improvement even with cold medicine, and also has a fever and deteriorating mental status. Then it is possible that it is not a cold, but sinusitis. 1. Acute sinusitis. Its early symptoms are very similar to a cold, and many parents think their children are just suffering from a cold, and when they go to the hospital, they realize it is sinusitis. A small child suffering from sinusitis will react more than an adult suffering from sinusitis. In addition to a blocked nose and a thicker runny nose, children may also become irritable, have a fever, and resist eating. Some children may also experience coughing and nose bleeding. 2. Chronic sinusitis. When children suffer from this disease, they often have symptoms of nasal congestion and runny nose. Some children have symptoms of nosebleeds. In more serious cases, children may suffer from depression, poor appetite and weight loss. 3. Smell and cough when breathing. Some children with sinusitis have a smell that adults can detect when they breathe. Some children will have a cough when they wake up. Sinusitis requires long-term treatment, and when a child suffers from this disease, parents must adhere to the hospital’s treatment plan. Do not believe in folk remedies that can cure sinusitis quickly.
