Is HPV positivity transmitted by men?

Only a portion of HPV is transmitted through sexual intercourse. And anyone can be the source of infection in this case, it doesn’t have to be from a man to a woman, or from a woman to a man, as long as there is sexual intercourse, contact with mucous membranes or skin-to-skin contact. Human papillomavirus infection, also known as HPV infection, is closely related to reproductive tract infections. The likelihood of infection increases when the human organism is immunocompromised, and it is transmitted in various ways. Sexual contact is the most common route of transmission; indirect contact is through contact with the infected person’s clothing, household items, utensils, etc.; medical transmission is when medical personnel do not protect themselves during treatment or care, resulting in the doctor’s own infection or transmission to the patient through medical personnel; and mother-to-child transmission is when the infant becomes infected through the maternal birth canal. To avoid HPV infection, it is recommended to wear condoms during sex and not to have sexual intercourse while the patient is under treatment.
