How to deal with cough?

I often encounter many patients with chronic coughs (coughs lasting longer than 8 weeks) in my clinic, and often the cough does not improve even after using many antimicrobials, and the chest CT is normal. What should you do in this case: 1. Do you have relatives with allergic rhinitis, asthma or so-called “bronchitis”? 2. Did you have eczema when you were young? 3. Does your cough get worse in the morning? Do you work or live in an environment with irritants or other discomforts such as special odors, dust, or scraps of cloth?7. Do you work in an occupation that causes coughing or are you surrounded by colleagues who have similar conditions? After answering the above questions first, and then going to the hospital to do some necessary tests, your cough can be clarified and controlled as to its cause.
