Cure rate of neonatal pneumonia

The cure rate of neonatal pneumonia is relatively high with timely, standardized and symptomatic treatment. If the neonate is in good physical condition and the treatment is timely and effective, the cure rate is usually over 90%.
Neonatal pneumonia is mostly related to infections, of which viral infections and bacterial infections are the most common. Neonatal pneumonia can be manifested as respiratory distress, asphyxia, and severe respiratory failure.
Newborns due to the age of small, weak, resistance is insufficient, the condition of the pneumonia progressed faster, but if neonatal pneumonia early detection, early and effective to give standardized treatment, most of the prognosis is good. The cure rate can be as high as 90% or more.
Neonatal pneumonia, once diagnosed, need to actively cooperate with the doctor’s treatment, so as not to affect the prognosis.
