Many parasites and insects can cause skin diseases. Some of the diseases have characteristic manifestations and some of them have no specific manifestations. Some diseases are still serious and even life-threatening. In the animal kingdom, there are as many as seven phyla that can invade the human body and cause skin damage: Protozoa, Coelenterata, Scaphozoa, Platyhelminthes, Annelida, Arthropoda, and Chordata. They attack the human body in different ways and cause different types of skin and mucous membrane injuries. An overview of the largely common parasitic and insect diseases with specificity is given. Runner’s rash It is a zigzag linear damage caused by the larvae of certain parasites that migrate through the skin. The most important manifestation is the visible zigzag epidermal tunnels, slightly elevated on the skin surface, but also in the form of cords, the length of which is variable. Caterpillar dermatitis Many hairs can cause dermatitis, such as pine caterpillar, mulberry caterpillar, tea caterpillar, stinging caterpillar and so on. Characteristic manifestations in contact with toxic hairs appear spots, macules, wind, blisters, blisters and other rashes, severe cases can be accompanied by systemic symptoms. Cryptosporidium dermatitis Cryptosporidium dermatitis is caused by skin contact with cryptosporidium venom. Typical damages are striated, patchy, edematous erythema, papules or blisters. There is itching or burning sensation. Pubic lice This can be sexually transmitted. It presents as severe itching in the pubic hair area with erythema, papules or blisters on the skin underneath. The pubic hairs are covered with grayish folded attachments, which are eggs laid by pubic lice, and sometimes adult lice can be seen. Scabies Scabies is caused by the scabies bug and is contagious. Scabies is a good first invasion of the delicate skin, such as finger crevices, wrists, elbow sockets, umbilical cord, lower abdomen, vulva and other parts of the body. This guy also has a habit, like day and night, but also like to play holes, so often night itching, attention is very itchy! Sometimes it is unbearable and there are scratches all over the body. The sores are sometimes present in the scrotum, penis, and labia areas, forming small bumps, little scabies nodules. This nodule is more difficult to remove and is sometimes the source of scabies flare-ups, treatment can be freezing. Follicular Worm Dermatitis The follicular worm is also commonly known as the mite. This bug prefers areas rich in sebaceous glands, such as around the nose. Many people have this parasite, but not necessarily with clinical manifestations. However, it can lead to rosacea, causing erythema, peeling skin, sometimes blisters or pustules, accompanied by itching.
