  Intervention is a clinical discipline, which is a product of the continuous development of modern medical theory and clinical technology. Its basic principle is to treat deep lesions in the human body by various minimally invasive techniques through various channels, relying on modern medical imaging equipment.  Interventional treatment integrates the superiority of medical and surgical treatment, and the treatment objects have involved various diseases in various parts of the body, with the unique advantages of no incision, small trauma, fast recovery and good effect.  It has become one of the main means of modern clinical treatment and represents the future trend of medical development.  The Ministry of Health and the National Science Commission have officially listed it as the third major clinical discipline alongside medical treatment and surgical treatment.
