Having a brain tumor is a death sentence

When it comes to tumors, I believe many people will feel disgusted and afraid, and cranial tumors are stamped as the “terminal disease of terminal diseases” by many people. In fact, cranial tumor is not as terrible and incurable as people think, but rational understanding and scientific treatment at early detection can have a positive impact on the prognosis of cranial tumor. It is important to understand brain tumor rationally. Brain tumor is a tumor growing in the skull, which is divided into original and later occurrence. Primary brain tumor occurs in brain tissue and its appendages inside the skull; secondary brain tumor is a metastatic tumor formed by the metastasis of other parts of the body or invasion into the skull. It can also be divided into benign and malignant, but because the space in the cranial cavity does not allow expansion, therefore, no matter what kind of tumor can directly cause local damage to brain tissue, affect cerebral blood circulation, block cerebrospinal fluid circulation pathways, cause intracranial fluid accumulation or cerebral edema, to the point of brain herniation, which threatens patients’ lives. Therefore, regardless of what kind of tumor in the skull, early diagnosis and early treatment are most important. Small signs indicate big problems. Some people find brain tumors in the middle and late stages, missing the best time for treatment. In fact, there are signs and symptoms of brain tumor, but they are often ignored by people. The brain is a very complex and important organ, and the signs and symptoms of brain tumor vary from patient to patient, which is related to the size, nature and location of the tumor. The following are some signs and symptoms of brain tumor early attack, which must be clear Headache: it is more intense in nature, often occurs in early morning, sometimes waking up in sleep, but the headache will gradually relieve or disappear after getting up and light activity; Vomiting: due to the increase of intracranial pressure, the vagus nerve center is stimulated and vomiting occurs. The increase of intracranial pressure will cause poor venous blood flow to the eye, leading to bruising and edema, which will damage the visual cells in the retina of the eye and lead to vision loss; mental abnormalities: brain tumors located in the frontal lobe of the brain can disrupt the mental activities of the frontal lobe, causing excitement, agitation, depression, depression, amnesia, and fictitious mental abnormalities. Regarding intracranial tumors, benign intracranial tumors such as meningioma, nerve sheath tumors and pituitary tumors are slow-growing and mostly curable; malignant brain tumors such as glioma and metastases are fast-growing and difficult to be cured. However, there are no absolutes, some benign tumors can’t be removed by surgery because of their deep location, and they are already very large when they are found; some malignant tumors can be removed or even cured by surgery because they grow in less important brain tissues. Because of this, patients should not give up hope when they are suffering from intracranial tumors, even if they are malignant tumors. Surgical resection is the most effective method to treat brain tumors at present. For patients with benign brain tumors, surgical resection can basically cure them; for patients with malignant brain tumors, surgery can clarify the diagnosis, improve the symptoms, reduce the tumor load and create conditions for other treatments. It is undeniable that intracranial tumor is one of the life-threatening factors, but it is not “hopeless”. Patients should not lose the courage to give up the treatment after clear diagnosis, and actively cooperate with the treatment of relevant specialist hospitals is the most correct and appropriate.
